Johan Pietilä Holmner (born January 29, 1991 ) is a former Swedish ski racer whose strongest discipline is slalom . He is the brother of the former ski racer Maria Pietilä Holmner .

Career

Pietilä Holmner first took part in FIS races and national (youth) championships in winter 2006/2007 and started in February 2007 at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Jaca , where his only result was 26th place in the giant slalom. From 2008 to 2011 he took part in all Junior World Championships . Here he achieved eighth place as the best result in the 2009 combined ranking , and in a single race, 16th place in the giant slalom of the same year was his best result.

In January 2009 Pietilä Holmner was first used in the European Cup . While he achieved numerous victories and podium places in FIS races in his home country from December 2008, he was only rarely able to score points in the European Cup at the beginning. This changed in the 2011/2012 season when he first achieved his first top 10 placings in two slaloms in Trysil and celebrated his first victory in the parallel slalom ( City Event ) in St. Vigil on December 21 . In the World Cup , Pietilä Holmner started for the first time on January 6, 2011 in the slalom in Zagreb . So far, however, he has remained without points in his few World Cup appearances.
