The Johann-Benda-Park is an approx. 52,000 m² near-natural park on the former Wienerberg grounds in the Inzersdorf-Stadt district . The park is located between the A23 Südosttangente , Pfarrgasse, Baron-Karl-Gasse , Neilreichgasse. Besides sprawling lawns and trees of the park has a small children children youth playground , beach volleyball court , sand and mud area, sand play area, dog area , drinking fountains and a pond, the name Benda pond carries.

history

The park and the pond were named on October 8, 1987 in the City Council Committee for Culture of the City of Vienna after the District Councilor and master baker Johann Benda (1858-1911).
