Johann (Bir Seba)

Johann , also Johannes († around 1391 ), was titular bishop of Bir Seba and an Augustinian hermit . His work as auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Magdeburg , in the Diocese of Naumburg and in the Diocese of Cammin has been handed down .

He became titular bishop in 1347. In 1350 he appeared as auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Magdeburg .

In the Diocese of Naumburg Bishop John worked in 1355, when he when visiting the monastery Pforta a chapel and an altar, a drain privilege bestowed. He appeared as "perpetuus vicarius" of the Naumburg bishop Rudolf von Nebra .

In the diocese of Cammin , Bishop Johann appeared in 1357 under the Camminer Bishop Johann I. He consecrated the altar of all angels and the 11,000 virgins in the church of the Augustinian monastery in Stargard and granted him the privilege of indulgence.

Bishop Johann died around 1391.
