history
The dead were buried in the cemetery as early as 1719. The Jews from Monzernheim , who belong to the Jewish community of Hessloch , also found their final resting place here. The cemetery was occupied until the early 20th century. After 1945 the gravestones in the cemetery were knocked over "for structural reasons" and were not put up again until 1974. Destroyed stones and fragments were buried in the southwest corner of the site. The gravestones in very different states of preservation date from the 19th and 20th centuries and are set up in two rows.
