The Jewish cemetery Erbes-Büdesheim can be seen from afar, located on a dirt road in the Gewann Im Mühlpfad northeast of Erbes-Büdesheim .

As early as 1729, a cemetery in the "Blue Palace Square" is mentioned. In 1838 this more remote property was purchased as a new burial site. The oldest surviving tombstones ( Mazewot ) dates from 1850, the youngest from 1934. The complex is surrounded by a high stone wall. In the rear part of the area there are 13 tombstones, mostly gabled sandstone steles , etc. a. a double tomb and one from the 19th century with a rare depiction of a seated angel . The figure from the 1930s is made of granite .

As a testimony to the lost Jewish community, the cemetery is an important site in terms of local history.

The Jewish cemetery is protected in accordance with Section 3 (1) in conjunction with Section 5 (5) of the Rhineland-Palatinate Monument Protection Act.
