Dalsheim Jewish cemetery
The Jewish cemetery in Dalsheim , a district of the local community Flörsheim-Dalsheim in the Alzey-Worms district in Rhineland-Palatinate , was laid out around 1579. The Jewish cemetery is located in front of the northern city wall on the street Am Pfarrgarten . It is a protected cultural monument .
The cemetery was occupied by the local Jewish communities until the 1930s. Until around 1800 by the Jews from Heppenheim an der Wiese , until the 1930s by the Jews from Hohensülzen , Kriegsheim , Monsheim and Nieder-Flörsheim .
About 150 tombstones have been preserved in the 1758 m² cemetery . The oldest is from 1721.
