The community is located in Rheinhessen .

The community consists of the two districts Nieder-Flörsheim and Dalsheim. Dalsheim was formerly known as Flecken , hence the name of the wall surrounding the village .

history

The municipality of Flörsheim-Dalsheim was created on June 7, 1969 through a new formation from the two dissolved municipalities of Dalsheim and Nieder-Flörsheim.

The Flersheim family is also associated with the place name Flörsheim .

Agriculture

Flörsheim-Dalsheim is one of the largest wine-growing communities in Rheinhessen. Its individual layers are located in the large Burg Rodenstein site in the Rheinhessen wine-growing region and are the Dalsheimer Hubacker , the Sauloch , the Steig , the Bürgel , the Goldberg and the Frauenberg . Outstanding producers are Weingut Keller and Sekthaus Raumland .

Stain wall

In 2011/2012 the station forecourt of the community was completely redesigned and expanded into a so-called medium-sized station with the settlement of shops, bank branches and small service providers.

Stain wall

The patch wall, which is over a kilometer long, encloses the historical core of the Dalsheim district. It was built at the end of the 15th century and is almost completely preserved. The Fleckenmauerfest has been held every four years since 1988.

education

In Flörsheim-Dalsheim there is a secondary school plus as well as a Protestant kindergarten in the district of Dalsheim and a day-care center in the district of Nieder-Flörsheim.

  • Fleckenmauerfest : Every 4 years Flörsheim-Dalsheim celebrates the historic Fleckenmauerfest in the center of Dalsheim, which is enclosed by the Fleckenmauer .
