Economy and Infrastructure

traffic

The transport connections can be described as very good for the size of Biebelnheim: The A 63 can be reached practically directly via the Biebelnheim junction and the A 61 is only about 10 km away via the nearby Alzey motorway junction .

The road traffic situation looks threatening within Biebelnheim. Since the place does not have a bypass road, all traffic from the growing neighboring communities of Gau-Odernheim and Bechtolsheim has to drive through the place in order to get onto the above-mentioned motorways. Due to the increase in truck traffic through the narrow streets of the community, a citizens' initiative has been founded to promote a bypass road and a cycle path to Gau-Odernheim. The main road was originally supposed to be expanded in 2009, but this project was delayed by a whole year until July 2010. The cycle path was finally built in 2018. The urgently needed bypass still does not exist.

Established businesses

In Biebelnheim there are mainly wineries and other farms. Furthermore, two tire dealers, a car and caravan dealer, as well as some craft businesses.

Public facilities

The community has a kindergarten and the Biebelnheim volunteer fire department. Schoolchildren attend the primary school in Bechtolsheim or the secondary schools in Gau-Odernheim, Flonheim, Alzey or Wörrstadt.
