The Wasserstraßen- und Schifffahrtsamt Berlin (WSA Berlin) is a waterways and shipping office in Germany. It belongs to the service area of the General Directorate for Waterways and Shipping , formerly the Waterways and Shipping Directorate East .
Area of responsibility
The Berlin Waterways and Shipping Office is responsible for the federal waterways in Berlin , the Rüdersdorfer Waters, the Dahme Waterways , the Storkower and Teupitz Waters and the Spree-Oder Waterways to the Oder in Eisenhüttenstadt .
Area of responsibility
The tasks of the Berlin Waterways and Shipping Office include:
- Maintenance of federal waterways in the official area
- Operation and maintenance of structures such as B. Weirs , locks and bridges
