Big cramp
The Große Krampe is a long bay (actually a glacial channel ) of the Dahme , a tributary of the Spree . This bay is located in Berlin-Müggelheim in the Treptow-Köpenick district of Berlin and extends over 3.26 kilometers from north to south. It is a good 100 meters wide. The Große Krampe (GKr) belongs to the federal waterway Spree-Oder-Wasserstraße , for which the Berlin Waterways and Shipping Office is responsible, and is one of the so-called other inland waterways of the federal government. In the summer season, the BVG ferry line 21 runs between Krampenburg and Schmöckwitz . The bay is surrounded on both sides by the Köpenicker forest. In addition to the Große Krampe, there is also a Kleine Krampe as a bay on Lake Seddin , also in Müggelheim.
