Johann August Friedrich Kleemann

Johann Friedrich Kleemann (born September 8, 1754 in Walkenried , † November 27, 1824 in Cönnern ) was a Prussian mountain ridge and chief mining authority and district judge in Rothenburg an der Saale .

Life

He was the son of Walkenried Oberamtmann Johann Friedrich Kleemann and grandson of Johann August Kleemann (1693–1756), who had leased the Walkenried Monastery as Oberamtmann. His mother came from Salza near Nordhausen and was called Marie Christine nee Nebelung (1736–1826). The parents lived on the Wiedigshof near Walkenried, where he was born.

After attending school, Kleemann embarked on a higher civil service career in the service of King Friedrich II of Prussia.

His father bequeathed him and his siblings a considerable fortune, including a ton of gold, after their death in 1788.

Kleemann had inherited rights to Vockstedt Castle near Artern on his father's side . In fact, in 1804, the family succeeded in acquiring a portion of the aforementioned castle property.

On February 22, 1784 in Voigtstedt, he married Maria Catharina Aurbachen, the daughter of the estate owner there. This marriage resulted in five children, four of whom survived their father: Marie Friederike Charlotte Kleemann (* 1785), Auguste Karoline Marie Veronika Kleemann (* 1786), Carl Friedrich Gottlieb Kleemann (* 1787) and Carl August Wilhelm Kleemann (* 1789).
