Johann Burg (physician)
Johann Burg (also Johannes Burg , born June 13, 1652 in Breslau ; † August 25, 1690 ibid) was a German medic and doctor in Breslau.
Life
Johann Burg studied at the University in Jena medicine. He then worked as a doctor in Breslau.
On January 22nd, 1677 Johann Burg was given the academic surname Mesphe I. under the matriculation number. 70 admitted to the Academia Naturae Curiosorum , today's German Academy of Natural Scientists Leopoldina .
Burg was married to Maria Rosina Vick , the daughter of the Protestant theologian Friedrich Viccus . The theologian Johann Friedrich Burg (1689–1766) was his son.
