Pavel Vasilyevich Abrosimov

Pavel Vasilyevich Abrosimov  ( Russian Павел Васильевич Абросимов ., Scientific transliteration Pavel Abrosimov Vasil'ewič ; born December 14 . Jul / 27. December  1900 greg. In Koren Well Pustyn , Kursk , † 21st March 1961 in Moscow) was a Russian- soviet architect. While his early work is ascribed to post-constructivism , he turned to socialist classicism in the early 1930s .

Life

Pavel Abrosimov was born in Kursk Oblast in 1900.

He studied art at the Polytechnic Institute in Baku from 1921 to 1923 . From 1923 to 1928 he studied architecture at the Academy of Arts in Leningrad with Andrei Belogrud , Leonti Benois , Iwan Fomin , Wladimir Schtschuko , W. Gel Reich, S. Serafim.

He worked at Lensoweta in G. Simonow's workshop until 1933 . During this time he designed several residential complexes and buildings with the architects G. Simonow, A. Hryakowym and others. After this time he turned to socialist classicism.

Abrosimov died in 1961 and was buried in the Novodevichy Cemetery ( Lot 8).
