Johann Bussmann

Johann Bussmann ( bl. 1531–1533) was councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck during the Wullenwever period .

Life

Not much is known about Jürgen Bussmann's exact life dates. He was a citizen of Lübeck and a member of the corporation of dressmakers . After Philippe Dollinger he was one of the richest Lübeckers at the beginning of the 16th century and had a fortune of 40,000 marks Lübisch . He could only be compared with the Lübeck-Nuremberg businessman Mathias Mulich . From the circle of the citizens' committee of the 64er he was elected by the citizenship of the city on April 27, 1531 to the Lübeck council . But he resigned from the council at the beginning of 1533 because he was after an imperial mandate against the city of Jürgen WullenweversNo longer wanted to support politics. Jürgen Bussmann lived in the property at Braunstraße 30 in Lübeck .
