Johann Christoph Adlung
Johann Christoph Adlung (also Johannes Christoph Adlung , born October 10, 1648 in Erfurt ; † June 10, 1681 ibid) was a German professor of medicine and oriental languages at the University of Erfurt .
Life
Johann Christoph Adlung graduated from the University in Wittenberg Oriental languages and medicine. In 1669 he received his doctorate in Wittenberg . In 1672 he became professor for oriental languages and in 1676 assessor of the medical faculty at the University of Erfurt.
On May 24, 1678 Johann Christoph Adlung was registered with the academic surname Ajax under matriculation no. 77 accepted as a member of the Leopoldina .
