Johann Ebertin Raitz von Frentz (* before 1600 ; † January 1638 ) was canon in Münster , Speyer and Liège .

Life

Origin and family

Johann Ebertin Raitz von Frentz came as the son of Arnold Raitz von Frentz (* 1585) and his wife Elisabeth von Wambach zu Wammen (* 1590) of the noble family Raitz von Frentz , which is one of the oldest families of lay judges and knights in the imperial city of Cologne . The family was raised to the status of imperial baron in 1650 and enfeoffed on October 25, 1652 by Elector Maximilian Heinrich with Odenkirchen and the associated office of hereditary castle count of the Archbishopric of Cologne . Johann Ebertin had six siblings.

Act

On May 31, 1635 it came into the possession of the cathedral priest , which his cousin Johann Raitz von Frentz had renounced. Johann Ebertin was also canon in Liège and Speyer.
