Johann Eichrodt

Johann Eichrodt (also Eichrod ) (born February 7, 1582 in Höxter , † January 27, 1638 in Hameln ) was a German lawyer .

The son of the preacher of the same name of the Höxter St. Kilianikirche studied from 1604 in Marburg and Gießen and after his doctorate in 1610 became a high school professor in Stadthagen and councilor of the Corveyer abbot . From 1621 he was professor of law at the University in Rinteln , which he headed as vice-principal until he was appointed city counsel in Hameln in 1634.
