Johann Endt (born May 16, 1869 in Bärringen , † July 28, 1951 in Dachau ) was a German-Bohemian teacher, folklorist and local researcher.

He came from the Bohemian Ore Mountains and was the illegitimate son of Felix Johann Endt and Maria Anna Schütz, in whose parents' house in Bärringen No. 50 he was born. On the same day the baptism took place by the Catholic pastor Eduard Ferdinand Schönfelder. His parents only got married the following year on November 22nd in Bärringen.

After receiving his doctorate, Johann Endt worked as a teacher in various places, including in Prague , where he was appointed high school professor. His love for his home in the Ore Mountains never let go of his life. For this reason he researched and published several times on the Bohemian Western Ore Mountains. In particular, a publication on Bärringen and the sagas and sagas of the Ore Mountains made him known nationwide. The latter work became so popular that it was published in a second edition.

In 1899 he had his contributions to Ionic vase painting printed in Prague at the expense of the Society for the Promotion of German Science, Art and Literature in Bohemia, which was founded in 1891 .
