Johann Fraissl

Johann Fraissl (born December 5, 1910 in Vienna , † March 6, 1997 in Strasshof an der Nordbahn ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and oil worker. Fraissl was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1959 to 1969 .

Fraissl attended elementary and community school and was employed as a gardener between 1926 and 1935. Fraissl then worked as an unskilled worker and driver, and from 1939 he did military service, where he was taken prisoner by the Americans, from which he did not return until 1946. Fraissl worked as a driver from 1947 after the Second World War, and in 1953 he joined the ÖAAB, where he also held various party functions in the ÖVP. Between 1959 and 1970 he was also a member of the chamber council for workers and salaried employees and from 1960 to 1970 councilor in Strasshof an der Nordbahn . He also represented the Austrian People's Party between June 4, 1959 and November 20, 1969 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
