Johann Freiberger
Johann Freiberger (* around 1470 in Geisenhausen ; † October 8, 1541 ) was a German historian.
The earliest sources about Freiberger come from the year 1510, when he worked as a canon in Freising . During this time various historical treatises were written, including a biography of St. Korbinian , the first bishop of Freising . In 1520 the first printed history of Freising's diocese appeared with the Cronica Episcoporum Frisingensis Ecclesiae .
After his time in Freising, Freiberger took the position of pastor at the parish church of St. Peter in Vohburg .
