Johann Friedrich II. Göler of Ravensburg

Johann Friedrich II. Göler von Ravensburg (born May 5, 1701 in Sulzfeld ; † March 19, 1765 ibid) comes from the Göler von Ravensburg family , an old noble family from Kraichgau that belonged to the Swabian Imperial Knighthood and its ancestral seat, Ravensburg , near Sulzfeld is in Baden-Württemberg .

Johann Friedrich was the son of Ludwig Ferdinand Göler von Ravensburg (1664–1722), ducal Chamberlain of Württemberg . He was unmarried and had no children.

Life

While his brother Ludwig Friedrich Göler von Ravensburg was called the "long gentleman", Johann Friedrich II was nicknamed "the fat gentleman". He lived in a house on the west side of the keep on the Ravensburg, which was demolished in 1807. He also donated the poor box in Sulzfeld. When he died unmarried, he was the elder of the family and owned numerous allodial goods. His inheritance came to the three sisters of his older brother Eberhard Friedrich I. Göler von Ravensburg as well as to his three sisters and their heirs.
