Johann Friedrich Conrad Niemeyer
Johann Friedrich Conrad Niemeyer (* 1759 , † 1814 ) was a German mine surveyor (Mountain notary) and cartographer .
Freiherr vom Stein commissioned Niemeyer to produce maps of the Wetter mountain area . His map series, created between 1787 and 1794, covers large parts of the eastern Ruhr area. Copies of the Niemeyer's map have been preserved in French.
Johann Ehrenfried Honigmann (1775 to 1855) worked under Niemeyer as a surveyor at the Oberbergamt Wetter, he later moved to the Bergamt Essen.
