Johann Georg Bach

Johann Georg Bach (born September 30, 1751 in Eisenach , † April 12, 1797 ibid) was a German organist .

Life

Johann Georg Bach came from the Bach family of musicians , he was the son of Johann Ernst Bach , and like him he studied law at the University of Leipzig . After the death of his father, he was court and town organist at the Georgenkirche in Eisenach from 1777 . At the same time he was court advocate and caste administrator .

It is not known whether he was also active as a composer like his ancestors .
