Johann Georg Baur

Johann Georg Baur (born August 15, 1820 in Hechingen ; † February 18, 1849 there ) was a German politician and member of the Frankfurt National Assembly .

Baur was the son of a city architect and studied law from 1838 to 1842. After two years as a legal trainee, he was appointed senior official actuary in 1844 and senior official assessor in 1846. In 1848 he was city administrator and in 1848/49 senior administrator in Hechingen .

Baur was from November 4, 1848 to February 18, 1849 member of the Frankfurt National Assembly for the constituency of Hechingen and belonged to the Westendhall faction . From 1846 to 1848 he was a member of the State Deputation of the Principality of Hohenzollern-Hechingen .
