Johann Georg Döhler (lawyer, 1667)

Johann Georg Döhler (born July 28, 1667 in Ohrdruf ; † November 17, 1749 in Gera ) was a German lawyer.

Döhler studied law at the University of Jena , the University of Altdorf and the University of Leipzig . In 1692 he became court advocate in Saxony-Eisenach . Since 1702 licentiate , he was at Christian Wild bird in Jena Dr. iur. PhD . From 1705 he was commissioner of the guardianship and chamber court in Eisenach . In 1711 he was councilor of Landgrave Wilhelm I (Hessen-Rotenburg) , in 1716 court and judicial councilor in Sachsen-Meiningen . In 1719 he came to Hildburghausen as a councilor , where he was a law teacher at the Georgianum grammar school . From 1722 first court and judicial councilor, he was assessor at the consistory in Gera. From 1725 he was a community councilor for the Counts of Reuss, chancellor and consistorial president.

In 1983 a reprint of his book on judicial office was published . In the announcement of the second-hand booklet it said:

"Appearance and being of the judicial office, that is / Kurtze thorough instruction, like a young person and STUDIOSUS who one day wants to take up a judicial office, be used in Cantzleyen and court rooms, or be drawn into it. Preparing to know what he has to learn and know before or in his office, also what qualities he must have? Same as what he has to wait, look for, and avoid in the judicial office? Whose those either not at all, or at least not having studied the rights, will be able to use themselves for some instruction. "
