Johann Georg Heinrich Oelrichs

Johann Georg Heinrich Oelrichs (* 1728 in Berlin ; † July 2, 1799 ) was a German Reformed preacher .

Life

Oelrich's father was the Reformed preacher Friedrich (* 1687), who originally lived in Bremen , but then moved to Berlin and died in 1732. Oelrichs also had a well-known brother, the historian Johann Carl Conrad Oelrichs .

Oelrichs initially worked as the second preacher of the Friedrichswerder Church . In 1783 he went to Cottbus , where he became court master and inspector.

Oelrichs wrote a travelogue and translated from French and English .
