Johann Georg Kraus (born July 2, 1787 in Kirchehrenbach ; † July 1, 1868 there ) was a Bavarian politician. From 1845 to 1848 he was a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Bavarian State Parliament .

Kraus came from a Catholic family of brewers and innkeepers based in Kirchehrenbach in Upper Franconia. His father Johann Joseph Kraus was a member of the state parliament from 1831 to 1834.

After taking over his father's property, Kraus was elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 1845 as a Class V candidate ("landowner without jurisdiction"). He has been described as politically unsuspicious but also devoid of any outstanding personal quality.
