Johann Georg Seiller
Johann Georg Seiller (born August 27, 1663 in Schaffhausen ; † January 12, 1740 there ) was a Swiss engraver.
Before 1690 he completed an apprenticeship in mezzotint with Philipp Kilian in Augsburg. Probably afterwards he worked as a copperplate engraver in Rome. In 1692 he married Anna Catharina Im Thurn . He made views of Swiss waterfalls and mountains as well as portraits of princes, scholars, artists, statesmen and other personalities.
