Johann Gmeiner
Johann Gmeiner (born January 26, 1904 in Gallneukirchen , † April 6, 1978 in Windischgarsten ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and teacher. He was mayor of the municipality of Windischgarsten from 1951 to October 22, 1967 and from 1949 to 1961 a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament .
Politics and functions
Gmeiner worked for the Social Democratic Party as a councilor in Windischgarsten, where he was mayor between 1951 and 1967. He also exercised the function of district head of the Red Cross.
