Johann Gottlob Bergold

Johann Gottlob Bergold (born July 24, 1742 in Altenberg ; † 1803 ) was a German legal scholar . In 1783 the University of Leipzig appointed him a master's degree and later a doctorate based on his dissertation Dissertatio politica de iureiurando calumniae tum generali tum speciali abolendo . From 1784 to 1789 he taught at the law school . He also acted as a lawyer and donated 500 thalers to a poor house .
