Johann Heinrich Meidinger

Johann Heinrich Meidinger (born November 13, 1792 in Frankfurt am Main ; † May 21, 1867 there ) was a businessman, geographer and travel writer.

Johann Valentin Meidinger's son was trained as a businessman in his hometown and then in Aachen, Paris and London.

He traveled through France in 1813-1815 and England in 1815-1817 and in 1820.

He then studied geography and statistics in his free time.

Like his brother Johann Valentin, he advocated liberal democratic politics in March.
