Johann Heinrich Sexheld

Johann Heinrich Sexheld (* 16th century , † probably 1605 ) was a princely councilor in Kempten .

Johann Heinrich Sexheld was the son of the Mainz law professor Andreas von Sexheld. Sexheld studied in Wittenberg , at today Leucorea and received his doctorate under Hermann Vultejus in 1590 at the University of Marburg to Doctor of Law . Both universities were relatively young and Protestant in orientation. Sexheld was later responsible as Chancellor for the Reich Chamber Court matters of the prince monastery and was one of its management staff.

The seal on a Memming document of the local monasteries dates from 1599: The coat of arms on the seal is divided, split at the top. In front a three-pass frame, behind a bird soaring to the left, at the bottom a rafter separated by three rosebuds . On the Spangenhelm a bird soaring to the right between two horns.
