Johann I (Ligny)
John I of Luxembourg (French: Jean Ier de Luxembourg ; † May 17, 1364 ) was a lord of Ligny , Beauvoir and Roussy from the House of Luxembourg . He was a son of Walram II of Luxemburg-Ligny and Guyotte of Lille.
From about 1330 he was married to Alix de Dampierre († 1346), heir to Guido von Dampierre-Richebourg. Her children were among others:
- Marie, ⚭ 1347 with Heinrich von Joinville (1327–1365), Count of Vaudémont
 - Johann († 1360/61), Lord von Roussy, clergyman
 - Guido († August 22, 1371), Count of Ligny and Saint-Pol
 - Johann († April 4, 1373), Bishop of Strasbourg from 1365 to 1369 and Archbishop of Mainz from 1371 to 1373
 - Johanna († 1392), ⚭ with Count Guido IV of Saint-Pol († 1360)
