Johann IX. (Salm-Kyrburg-Mörchingen)

Johann IX. Salm-Kyrburg-Mörchingen (* 1575 , † 1623 ) was wild and Rheingrafenstein to Kyrburg and Graf zu Salm . He was the son of Otto I (1538–1607) and Ottilie von Nassau-Weilburg (1546– around 1610). Many of his relatives served as soldiers in the Swedish service, including his brother Johann Kasimir von Salm-Kyrburg (1577–1651). The family was therefore often on the run during the Thirty Years' War .

He was married to Anna Katharina von Criechingen († 1638) from around 1593 . The couple had the following children:
