Johann Jacob von Weingarten
Johann Jacob von Weingarten (* 1629 in Komotau ; † October 16, 1701 in Prague ) was a Bohemian lawyer .
Life
Johann Jacob von Weingarten studied law in Prague. In 1666 he was elected second lawyer for the Lesser Town in Prague , eleven years later he became the first lawyer and councilor there. A year later he became German secretary at the Court of Appeal at Prague Castle . In 1689 he was appointed titular councilor. From 1693 he was a real councilor of appeal.
In 1681 he was raised to the nobility by Emperor Leopold I.
