Johann Joachim Tielcke also Tielke , Tielcken or Tielken (born July 9, 1648 in Rederank , † December 2, 1724 in Rostock ) was a German lawyer, councilor and mayor in Rostock.

Life

Johann Joachim Tielcke was the eldest son of Johann Tielcke, brewer and pledgee on Gut Rederanck, and his wife Margarethe, née. from Hahn. From 1663 he completed a law degree at the universities in Rostock and Greifswald . In February 1674 he passed his exams at the Faculty of Law in Rostock and in October he received his doctorate as a licentiate in law. In September 1694 he received his doctorate in law and at the same time was appointed syndic of the city of Rostock. In 1706 he became a councilor and shortly afterwards mayor of Rostock. He was also a tribunal assessor and deputy of the Mecklenburg nobility.

Johann Joachim Tielcke was married three times: first marriage from 1674 with Christina Sophia Korthe († 1703), in second marriage from 1704 with Wendula Knesebeck (1658–1716), related. Stolte and in third marriage from 1717 with Elisabeth Katharina von Bibow, related. from the Lühe. His son of the same name Johann Joachim Tielcke (1686–1756) also became a lawyer and syndic. He was chamber secretary in Stralsund in 1712, protonotary in 1719 and councilor from 1728. Tielcke's younger brother was Heinrich Christian Tielcke (1659-1711), professor of eloquence at Rostock University.
