Johann Klindworth (politician)

Johann Klindworth (born April 5, 1900 in Vierden , † February 5, 1976 in Zeven ) was a German politician ( CDU ) and member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

Klindworth attended elementary school in Ippensen for eight years and then went to agricultural school in Visselhövede for two winter months. He then took over the management of a 100 hectare farm in Klein-Wohnste. From 1926 he was also active as a shop steward in the federal state. Other offices were in the Reichsnährstand as local and district farmers leader and after 1945 as local and district manager. He was chairman of rural cooperatives and their board of directors. Johann Klindworth died on February 5, 1976 in Zeven.

politics

Klindworth was elected Mayor of Large and Small Residents in 1949. From 1952 he was a member of the Bremervörde district council, where he was a member of the finance, school and culture committee as well as the committees for commuting and real estate. From the fourth to the sixth electoral period from May 6, 1959 to June 20, 1970 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament.
