Johann Lahodny is an Austrian doctor of Czech origin. Gynecologist , obstetrician specializing in obstetric oncology , chief physician of the hospital, university lecturer , he is the inventor of several restorative surgical interventions aimed at gynecological pathologies more specifically related to the female reproductive system, including urinary incontinence and vaginal prolapse .

Based in St. Pölten , he is an expert in the field of scientifically controversial ozone therapy .

Professional career

Johann Lahodny received his doctorate in gynecology and obstetrics in 1965.

Initially working as a general practitioner, he was eventually promoted to head of the joint departments for gynecology and obstetrics at the Gmünd State Hospital and the Sankt Pölten State Hospital. During the course of his clinical practice, he has developed several restorative surgical techniques that specifically target gynecological pathologies related to the female reproductive system, including urinary incontinence and vaginal prolapse.

In 1994 he was appointed honorary professor at the University of Vienna and during this time published a number of scientific articles and several research books.

In 1999 he received a professional award for his efforts in the field of hygienic medicine. From 1999 to 2003 he served on the board of directors of the American Society for Vaginal Surgery. From 2000 to 2005 he was President of the European Society for Pelvic Floor Surgery. In 2002 the Italian Obstetrics and Gynecology Society made him an honorary member.

Lahodny also researches alternative medical methods such as bioresonance, vital field, normobaric oxygen therapy, "tachyonic field therapy" and dark field microscopy . In addition, he deals with the therapeutic effects of medical ozone with regard to its effects and the associated consequences for mitochondria and stem cells.

Lahodny started from the premise that every human being is endowed with a potential of stem cells, which have a symbiotic reparative ability that is dedicated to segmental readjustment that is caused by possible collateral damage that affects the optimal functioning of the global structure of the body and change mind. According to Lahodny, the real advance in medicine would lie in the use and targeted therapeutic use of these stem cells.

The ozone therapeutic treatment promoted by Lahodny consists in dosing higher doses than previously usual, despite earlier, well-founded and justified fears.
