Johann Leopold Burkhardt

Johann Leopold Burkhardt (also Leopold Burkhardt ; * 1673 in Bärringen , West Bohemia , † June 23, 1741 in Elbogen , West Bohemia) was a German organ builder in Bohemia .

Life

His father Maurizius Burkhardt was in Bärringen (Pernink) in the service of the margrave of Baden and then moved to Elbogen (Loket). The son Leopold worked there for the organ builder Abraham Starck and later opened his own organ building workshop in Elbogen.
