Johann Martin Gumpp the Younger
Johann Martin Gumpp the Younger (born July 26, 1686 in Innsbruck ; † September 21, 1765 there ) was an Austrian architect.
Gummp, son of Johann Martin Gumpp , built the turret of the Ursuline Church on the Innrain in Innsbruck and the great holy grave in the Wilten collegiate church in his youth . He later worked as a fortress builder in the military ( Ehrenberg Castle near Reutte and Kufstein Fortress ) and a cartographer . At the age of 68, his last project was the renovation of what was then the medieval Hofburg at the time of Maria Theresa in Innsbruck.
