Johann Marxreiter

Johann Marxreiter (born June 5, 1930 in Hagelstadt ; † December 14, 1987 in Augsburg ) was a German building contractor, local and state politician.

Career

Marxreiter attended elementary school from 1936 to 1944 and then completed a three-year apprenticeship as a ship engine builder. From 1947 to 1949 he worked as a foreman in the Hagelstadt brickworks. He trained at the state engineering school in Landshut, which he graduated as an engineer (FH) in 1952. In the following years he worked as a plant manager in various brick factories. In 1960 he founded his own construction business.

Political home was the CSU . From 1966 he belonged to the local council of Inningen and after the incorporation of the place in 1972 became a member of the Augsburg city council. From 1984 he was deputy chairman of the CSU parliamentary group. In the state elections in 1986 , he entered the Bavarian state parliament , to which he belonged until his death.
