Johann Nepomuk Stephan von Sacher
Johann Nepomuk Stephan Ritter von Sacher (* 27. March 1759 in Kynzvart , Bohemia ; † 22. September 1836 in Lviv ) was an Austrian official and Gubernialrat in Lviv. From 1795 he was the director of the Groß Salze / Wieliczka salt mine .
In 1817 he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Leopold Order by the Emperor and was thus given the privilege to ask for elevation to the hereditary Austrian knighthood. He was raised to the knighthood with effect from April 1, 1818.
Johann Nepomuk Stephan Ritter von Sacher is the father of the later police director of Lemberg, Leopold Johann Nepomuk Ritter von Sacher .
