Johann Peter Limbourg

Johann Peter Limbourg also Johann Peter Limbourg III. (* August 11, 1832 in Helenenberg ; † February 13, 1891 ibid) was a landowner and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Limbourg attended high school in Trier and then worked on the parental estate. He became a member of the Trier-Land district council and was a member of the supervisory board of the Agricultural Bank Trier. In 1884 he became chairman of the Trier farmers' association and the cattle insurance association. In 1879 he sent an "emergency cry from the Eifel" to the Prussian government, drawing attention to the poor conditions in the Eifel.

For the constituency of Trier (city and district) he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives from 1882. From 1887 he was also a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Trier 1 district ( Daun , Bitburg , Prüm ) and the German Center Party . Both mandates ended with his death.
