Johann Philipp von Winkelhausen

Johann Philipp von Winkelhausen (* after 1608 ; † December 3, 1633 ) was canon in Münster , Paderborn and Hildesheim .

Life

Johann Philipp von Winkelhausen came from the Bergisch noble family von Winkelhausen and was the son of Wilhelm von Winkelhausen zu Kalkum († 1638) and his wife Johanna von der Havelich. On October 24, 1620 he took possession of the cathedral priest of the late cathedral scholast Heinrich Droste zu Vischering . Elector Ferdinand ordered that in future all beneficiaries may not resign without the consent of the vicar general . On October 14, 1624, Johann Philipp made an offer to resign his canonical in Paderborn in order to acquire a prebend in Münster . Here he came into the possession of the benefice on November 26, 1624. He was also canon in Hildesheim . After his death Christian von Plettenberg came into the possession of the Präbende.
