Johann Rasser
Johann Rasser (* around 1535 in Ensisheim ; † September 1594 in Enschingen ) was a poet and Alsatian Catholic priest .
He worked as a pastor in Colmar , Rappoltsweiler and mainly in Ensisheim and devoted himself to counter-Reformation efforts. In Ensisheim he founded a Jesuit school . He has also written two comedies and a collection of sermons.
