The Audi Type D , also called 18/45 PS, is a car of the luxury class , which in 1912 by the Audi Automobile GmbH Zwickau (from 1915 Audi Werke AG of Zwickau ) in addition to the smaller Type B and Type C was built.

The vehicle had a four-cylinder IOE - Two Block - line engine with 4.7 liters cubic capacity installed in front. It developed 45 hp at 1650 rpm. It drove the rear wheels via a four-speed countershaft transmission and a cardan shaft. The car had a ladder frame and two leaf-sprung rigid axles . It was available as a four-seat touring car , landaulet or four-door sedan .

Only 53 copies of this large car had been built by 1920.
