Johann Remmelin
Johann Remmelin , also Johannes Rümelin , (* 1583 in Ulm , † 1632 in Augsburg ) was a German doctor and mathematician .
Remmelin was a full-time city physician in Ulm , Schorndorf and Augsburg . He studied philosophy in Tübingen and then medicine in Basel . In addition to his work as a doctor, he dealt with mathematics . He was the author and translator of several works.
He was also involved in the “ Ulm Comet Dispute ”.
