Johann Schuster (politician, 1912)

Johann Schuster (born October 18, 1912 in Kirchheim in Swabia , † January 9, 1975 in Augsburg ) was a German politician ( WAV , DP ).

Life

Schuster worked as a businessman until 1935. He joined the Wehrmacht in 1935 and took part in the Second World War as a soldier from 1939 to 1945 . After the end of the war he worked as a merchant in Derndorf .

Schuster joined the Economic Development Association (WAV) in 1946 and was managing director of the WAV regional management in Bavaria . He belonged to the German Bundestag in its first legislative period (1949–1953). He entered parliament through the Bavarian State List. Originally elected for the WAV, he moved on December 6, 1951 with most of his parliamentary group to protest against the re-election of party chairman Alfred Loritz to the German party (DP).

Schuster was active in the budget committee and until March 1952 as an advisory member in the election review committee. From March 1952 he was active in the Labor Committee and from December 1952 in the "Committee in accordance with Article 15 of the Basic Law" (transfer of private property into common property) .
