Johann Schwarz (politician, 1933)

Johann Schwarz (born November 11, 1933 in Andau ) is a former Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and farmer. Schwarz was a member of the Burgenland Landtag from 1972 to 1982 .

Life

Schwarz was born as the son of the farmer Johann Schwarz from Andau. He attended elementary school in Andau and then graduated from the agricultural college in Neusiedl am See , in 1953 he took over his parents' farm.

In 1985, Schwarz was awarded the professional title of Economics Council.

politics

Schwarz became involved as the Dean of the Catholic Youth and from 1966 was a councilor in Andau. He was also active as a member of the chamber council from 1963 and was vice-president of the Burgenland Chamber of Agriculture from 1983 to 1988. He was also a member of the board from 1971 and chairman of the Frauenkirchen warehouse from 1985 . Between 1973 and 1987 he was also a board member of the Raiffeisen Association and then President of the Raiffeisenlandesbank . From 1967 onwards, he held the position of ÖVP local party chairman in Andau and represented the ÖVP in the state parliament between February 21, 1972 and October 29, 1982, replacing the resigned MP Franz Rechnitzer in 1972 .
