Johann von Herold
Johann von Herold , also Johannes Herold or Johann Herold, (baptized December 20, 1625 in Nuremberg ; † February 21, 1656 in Augsburg ) was a German bell founder . He worked in Augsburg.
His father was Georg Herold . His brothers were called Achatius, Andreas , Balthasar, Hans Georg and Wolfgang Hieronymus . In June 1649 he married Maria Bayer, widow of Christoph Neidhardt. He did his training with his stepfather Leonhard Löw . He and his brothers were on March 16, 1654 by Ferdinand III. accepted into the imperial and hereditary nobility.
